How does 501 darts work?
Both players start on 501 and subtract each throw. The first to reach exactly zero on a double or the bull wins the leg.
How do you check out 170 in darts?
Treble 20 (60), treble 20 (60), bullseye (50).
What is the checkout for 100 in darts?
The standard checkout for 100 is treble 20 (60) followed by double 20 (40): 60 + 40 = 100.
What is the most common checkout for 40?
40 is checked out with a single double 20 (D20). It is the most-practised finish because it leaves the largest double if the first dart misses.
What are the bogey numbers in darts?
The bogey numbers are 169, 168, 166, 165, 163, 162, 161 and 159. These scores cannot be checked out with three darts under standard double-out rules, so a player must leave a different number first.
